Bush's game face
This category includes responses to pre-September 11 intelligence, responses on the day of the attacks, and responses in the aftermath. Given that hindsight is 20/20 and nobody is perfect, individual failures here and there are easy to write off as understandable human screw-ups. It wouldn't seem fair to suggest a conspiracy where incompetence or the law of averages would suffice to explain. However, it must be said that a massive set of multiple inexplicable failures and suspicious behaviors starts to smell quite fishy.
