Hijacker plausibility

The question here is what do we really know about the alleged hijackers? Why are we qualifying the word 'hijackers' with the word 'alleged'? Could the official story hijackers have done what the official story says they did? Are they even the right guys? Or is the whole hijacker story just too fishy?
