Opportunities to plant bombs

Summary

According to WTC personnel, bomb-sniffing dogs were used as part of a security alert for two weeks in late August and early September 2001. Five days before September 11, the alert was lifted and the dogs were taken out. A bit of mysterious timing, providing a bit of a window during which bombs could potentially have been planted inside the Towers.

Also, in the weeks preceding the attacks, there were numerous unusual and unannounced 'drills' in which sections of both towers as well as Building 7 were evacuated for 'security reasons,' according to Ben Foundation, a financial analyst who worked on the 47th floor of the South Tower. These drills are, again, potential windows of opportunity for secret dirty people to do their unthinkable work.

Furthermore, architectural drawings of the WTC show that the elevator shafts in the WTC provided access to the structural core columns, and it is known that much work was being done on the elevators (by Ace Elevator) throughout 2001.

Analysis

Well, reports like these sound pretty fishy, especially when you've spent hours upon hours digging into this stuff. Everything starts to look pretty suspicious. So let's not get carried away. Hey, they closed one of the men's rooms on the Monday...they were probably planting bombs! Still, what Gage says about the building design does demonstrate that there were opportunities to place explosives, which makes this one at least somewhat suspicious.

Bottom line, me, I give it:

somewhat suspicioussomewhat suspicious
